It's time again for our Easter Celebration! We are celebrating Jesus our Risen Lord this Sunday with a special service. We have some special video testimonies from people in our church and wonderful music as always. Be sure to stick around after for a light brunch outside while the kids do their Easter egg hunt. We've got some great prizes for the kids like Legos, puzzles, and art sets.

Don't miss this Sunday when missionaries Ben and Taja share with us about their ministry in Costa Rica. We have had several of our members head over to Costa Rica to work with them in the past couple years so it is very exciting to have them come and visit us.
They will be here for the entire weekend so if you would like to spend some time with them then let us know and we'll try to get a meetup going.

Get ready Lodi! We are really excited to have our Easter Egg Hunt for the kids again this year. It's one of the highlights for our Children's Ministry each year.

Another full day in baja, the school build was finished today by noon. Praise God! The men had worked very hard and finished earlier than expected. The rest of the group, the ladies and I, went to visit New Beginnings. New Beginnings is a transitional house for abused women. We had a very excellent informative tour followed by some refreshments. There was some special one on one prayer time while there.
The group got together and made an annual pilgrimage for fish tacos today to the delight …

We woke up to a cool marine layer covering the compound. Breakfast, devotions with Ruth, and off to the races! The build crew off to raise the walls and a roof; the ladies and me off to the daycare center.
The men report that they probably have a half day of work left on the build.

After a two day journey we arrived in Baja yesterday evening. Today, our first full day, was indeed a "full day". The build on the school began, and great progress was made. Walls and roofing were framed and will be raised in place tomorrow morning. Julia and family provided a wonderful lunch off Ceviche.
Joan's quilting class was very well attended and it started off a great success.
