It Is My Turn

"Give as freely as you have received" What have you received this past week?

Well, let me see. I have received love, joy, and peace. Also three meals a day,a warm bed and roof over my head. I have received phone calls from my friends. I have received forgiveness from God and others. I have received patience and love from my spouse.

There is a long list from which I benefit. Since it is a blessing to receive it all it is a greater blessing to give it all.

So now this week it is my privilege to give help to others; to give friendship to the lonely; to give forgiveness to those who offend me; to give patience to those who irritate me and to give love to everyone I meet.
